Hishab Khata ("the App"), developed by Alamgir Hossain (Bogura Academy), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
1 Information Collection and Use
Personal Information
When you log in via Google, we access your name, email address, and profile picture. This is used solely for identifying your account and securing your data sync.
Financial Records
Transaction records (dues/payments) and shop expenses are stored locally and synced securely with Google Firebase for backup.
Device Information
Non-identifiable info (model, OS version) is collected to improve app stability.
2 Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted infrastructure from Google to provide core features:
- Google Play Services: Core functionality and app updates.
- Firebase: Secure authentication and real-time cloud backup.
- Google AdMob: Personalized advertisements (manageable via Google account settings).
Data Storage & Security
Local & Cloud Storage
Transaction records use a Room database locally and sync with Firebase for seamless data recovery across devices.
Biometric Security
We support Fingerprint/Face unlock via Android Biometric API. We never store or access your actual biometric data.
